The Wallace was amazing from check in to check out. Service was impeccable! People were incredibly friendly! And the location was stunning. Joseph at the front desk was the epitome of a professional. The place is beautiful without being pretentious. The rooms were wonderfully equipped with anything one should need. Don’t waste your time staying anywhere else!

Worth It!

Excellent stay at The Wallace. Great location, friendly staff and beautiful room. We were in a Junior Suite and it was roomy and perfect for our stay. Comfy bed and bath - loved the lighted vanity mirror. Everything was well appointed and made for a 5-star experience in the UWS.

Great location, great night's sleep!

As an ex-New Yorker I knew where I wanted to stay. I did not know that I would stumble on a gem. The staff was welcoming, the bed gave me a good night's stay and the decor is lovely and simple. A perfect hotel near The Beacon Theater, Zabar's and the subway! A good find.

Finally! A Hotel worth staying at on the Upper West Side

We have been visiting family in this area for a decade and have been searching for a comfortable, well appointed hotel that is conveniently located. The rooms are modern, well sized and very comfortable. We enjoyed having a small sitting area. The bar was a lovely place to relax. We will be back!

Incredible hotel with 5 star elegance

Stayed at The Wallace and was blown away by the service, food and staff. Not only was the room very comfortable and super clean but everyone was so accommodating and helpful. The piano bar and lounge were so fun in the evenings and the drinks and food were delish. There was a phenomenal singer and piano player which just elevated the experience even more. Located in the prime Upper West Side area, close to everything. Can’t wait to go back.

Amazing stay on UWS

Amazing luxury hotel but still reasonably priced for Manhattan. Excellent neighborhood, very accessible to public transit, excellent staff, beautiful rooms. One bedroom studios are great for families. We will definitely be returning and this was our second stay.

A Great Place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights at The Wallace! The staff were professional and friendly. We arrived in the morning. The front desk staff gladly stored our luggage, then called us as soon as our room was ready. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. It was in a great location too! We are looking forward to returning!

Great Hotel

Excellent pet-friendly hotel on the Upper West Side. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel. We needed a pet-friendly hotel because we had our dog, but I would stay here without the dog. Great location too.

Phenomenal Hotel

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Wallace!! Friendly staff, beautiful room, awesome lounge and quiet location. We were in town visiting my niece who attends Fordham at Lincoln Center. Our 15 minute walk to her was perfect every day! So many locations for food and beverage, and there are convenient subway locations just minutes from the hotel. A huge bonus is its location to Central Park and all the museums nearby. Thank you for our complimentary birthday gift upon arrival, we look forward to many return visits!

Why stay anywhere else?

One of the nicest boutique hotels in the city! We love Wallace. The location is great, rooms are beautifully appointed and the lobby bar has great music and a vibe! It’s a great spot located in the Upper West Side close to Central Park, great shopping and dining.
