Reservations & Policies

To cancel an upcoming stay without penalty, please contact us at least 24 hours prior to 3 pm on your scheduled arrival, unless a non-refundable rate has been booked. Reservations changed or canceled less than 24 hours prior to 3 pm in advance (EST) will result in a charge of one night, plus tax.

Our check-in time is 3:00 pm, and check-out is 12N.

Yes!  Up to to 2 pets may accompany you for a fee of $95.00.
Note that other cleaning / repair fees may be imposed if there is undue damage to the room.

We follow all guidance’s set forth by the CDC. These include the following:

  • Continuous cleaning of guest rooms and public spaces using EPA-approved antimicrobial products
  • Masks, gloves, alcohol wipes and hand sanitizer available
  • Daily housekeeping (optional)

Early check-in is subject to availability. The only way to guarantee an early check-in is to pay for the night before.  If on arrival your room is fully serviced and ready, we will check you in.

However, in the event that your room type is not yet available, we would be more than happy to store your luggage until it becomes available.

Departures prior to scheduled departure date will be subject to an early departure fee of one night's room and tax charged to the guest card.

The Wallace generally does not require a deposit prior to check-in, unless stated so at reservation time. For bookings made on other sites, please read the conditions of the reservation carefully, as other terms may apply.

The Wallace is a 100% non-smoking hotel, including all guest rooms and indoor public spaces, in line with NYC law; a cleaning fee applies to violations.

If damages occur during your stay, charges may apply.

Payments & Billing

No, we do not have any Facility or Resorts Fees.

The Wallace accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and JCB.

Every night is taxed as follows: 8.875% NY State tax + 5.875 NYC tax + $1.50 Jacob Javits fee (assessed by the City of NY) + Occupancy tax $2 ($4 for suites).

The Wallace releases unused credit card authorizations immediately upon departure. While most credit cards issued by U.S. based banks take up to 5 business days, it can also depend on the issuing bank’s policies. International credit cards may take up to 14 days or more depending on the bank.

Yes, prepayment is an option. Please reach out to the hotel directly at info@thewallace.com to arrange. Pre-payments must be finalized within 24 hours of arrival.

To qualify for tax-exemption, an individual, or entity must be listed as tax-exempt with the Federal government or the New York State government. Proper forms must be presented to the hotel, and the entity or individual that is tax-exempt may provide a credit card for payment. No cash transactions can be tax-exempt.

We don't have an ATM on site.

Rooms & Amenities

At this time, we do not offer room service, however you will find numerous delivery options available in the area.

Yes, guests enjoy complimentary access to our fully equipped, 24-hour fitness center which features cardio equipment, free weights, and 2 Peloton bikes.

  • Valet Parking is available from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm (Oversize vehicles subject to surcharge)
  • Self-parking is available close by (Oversize vehicles subject to surcharge)

Yes, all rooms feature a mini-bar fridge.

No, we do not provide rollaway beds. Cribs are free of charge and based on availability. Please note that there are no sofa beds available.

Yes. The Wallace offers ADA-accessible guest rooms in two layouts: the Superior King Accessible (sleeps 2, 255 sq ft), with a roll-in shower with grab bars, visual alarms, closed captioning, and spa-inspired bath products; and the Superior Double Queen Accessible (sleeps 4, 372 sq ft), with side-by-side queen beds, accent chairs, roll-in showers, and visual alarms.

Yes, dry cleaning and laundry services are available for an additional fee.

Yes, guests may send parcels to their own attention and The Wallace will accept them. Packages should not arrive more than 3 days prior to scheduled arrival.

The Wallace staff will gladly store your luggage on the day of your arrival and after you check out. There is no overnight storage. There is no fee for this service.

The hotel is home to The Wallace Lounge, an on-site cocktail bar with a sleek, sophisticated atmosphere. The menu pairs classic cocktails with a twist with shareable small plates, including cured meats and cheeses, creative takes on bar favorites, and a selection of caviar.

Getting Here & Contact

The Wallace is conveniently located on the Upper West side, at 76th street between Broadway and West End Avenue.

We are centrally located to Public Transportation. We have 2 subways nearby; and the local M104 bus goes down Broadway with a stop at the corner of 76th street. You can be in Times Square via the subway within 5 minutes!

If you are traveling by car, please see below the estimated driving time. All times vary based on time of day and traffic. 

  • JFK Airport – need to allow 1.5 hours
  • LaGuardia Airport – need to allow 1 hour
  • Newark Airport – need to allow 1 hour
JFK: $70 flat fare from Manhattan + $5 weekday rush-hour surcharge + tolls + NYS congestion surcharge + tip (~$85–100+).

LaGuardia: metered fare + $5 surcharge + tolls + tip.
Newark: metered fare + $20 surcharge + tolls (incl. return) + tip.

The Wallace enjoys a central location on the Upper West side of Manhattan. Central Park and Riverside Park are within blocks of the hotel. Lincoln Center, The Metropolitan Museum of Art and American Museum of Natural History are all nearby within walking distance.
